Saturday - Honk and Wave

Alright...We would like RSVP's for those that will be coming Friday night to help put together the door hangers. Bring your own meat to throw on the grill, I'll furnish the home grown sweet corn (best in utah).
Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. we will furnish a pancake breakfast (Sill's cafe style) for those walking with us.....We would like you to RSVP that as well so we know how much to plan for.
I really appreciate the support I feel from all my friends out there!

Our address is 1585 North Fort Lane in Layton.  Hope to hear from you!

Went to my High School reunion last night at Layton High School.  It was great to see so many classmates.  I haven't been to one of the reunions for a long time.  Even after so many years it was interesting to see most people go right back to their same little cliques as in High School...thats okay.

Cudos to Tana and crew for organizing it....a lot of fun and great memories.  The school has changed considerably inside...looks great!

The pictures are of David, Pat, Mike, and myself..

I'll be at the Davis County Fair Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.  come on by and say hello!  I'd love to meet you and talk to you!  I think we're at table 21 in the third building south.
Just got back from spending three days at Wolf Creek condos with my Student Government Class.  We were there for some team building and planning for the upcoming school year.  I've got a great bunch of students to work with this next year, and the support from their families is unbelievable.  Thanks to Kristi Jarman, her husband Travis and her parents for sponsoring the event.

Davis County Democrats

What do Democrats believe?  What values and ideas do they support?  Read this statement from the Davis County Democrats.  These are the values Doug will support in the Utah State House of Representatives.  If you agree with these values, support Doug Sill in District 16!

DAVIS COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY

STATEMENT OF VALUES

WE VALUE FAMILIES

We believe that strong family units are the basis of successful societies and that families, especially those who serve in our Armed Forces, should have the opportunities necessary to prosper.

WE VALUE EDUCATION

Students deserve quality, well-funded schools and teachers that inspire and motivate students should be compensated competitively. We believe it is bad public policy to support private schools with taxes.

WE VALUE WORK

We believe that everybody should have access to a job which provides sufficient income to adequately provide for one’s family. We appreciate employers who provide such jobs and workers who give an honest day’s work.

WE VALUE GOOD HEALTH

We believe that basic heath care should be available to all Utahns.

WE VALUE SECURITY

We appreciate the service of military, fire and police personnel and believe that they should be fairly compensated for the hazardous service throughout their lives.

WE VALUE HONESTY AND INTEGRITY

We support open government and oppose efforts to close government from scrutiny. We believe that ethics laws covering Utah legislators and lobbyists need to be further strengthened.

WE VALUE SUSTAINABILITY

We favor cost-effective, energy-effective options for transportation, energy, and government which enhances Davis County neighborhoods.

WE VALUE DIVERSITY

We believe that the community is better when everyone is included and involved in making Davis County a great place to live.

WE APPRECIATE SERVICE

We are grateful for the many willing individuals who give freely of their time and energy to make Davis County a great place to live.
